Homeworlds on Home Soil — Plus New Orlocks and Fresh Paint!
HobbiShack / Store News / October 2026
We’re bringing the Homeworlds Planetary Qualifier home to HobbiShack! Together with the BDST crew, we’re hosting a big day of Star Wars: Unlimited in Wyong on Sunday 15 November 2026.
Meanwhile, House Orlock is recruiting, Tone Pro paints are available, and there’s more organised play on the horizon.
Join us for the Homeworlds Planetary Qualifier
This is a Limited format event: you’ll build your deck from a six-pack sealed pool for the Swiss rounds, with a draft for players reaching the top cut. The number of Swiss rounds will depend on attendance.
Following feedback from previous PQs, we’re offering two ticket options:
Base entry — $55
- Your six-pack sealed kit.
- Two additional Homeworlds booster packs.
- Entry into the Base lucky-door prize pool.
Premium entry — $85
- Everything included with Base entry.
- A Homeworlds Carbonite pack.
- Entry into the larger Premium lucky-door prize pool.
Lunch is included with both ticket options, so that’s one less thing to organise between rounds. Lucky-door prizes are still being finalised, with more details coming closer to the day.
Aim to arrive by 9:30 am at HobbiShack, Unit 3/5 Donaldson Street, Wyong.

House Orlock hits the road — EOIs open now
Necromunda’s House of Iron has reinforcements on the way, and our expressions of interest are now open.
The new releases include Orlock Road Warriors, Road Sergeants & Cyber-mastiffs, and a pair of Ogryn Minders for anyone who prefers their bodyguards reassuringly enormous.
There’s also Underhive Journal: Orlock – The House of Iron, bringing new background and gang rules, including quad-mounted Road Gangs and Wrecking Crews. The Orlock Card Pack and Dice round out the release.
Whether you’re expanding an existing gang or looking for another project to park beside the unfinished ones, let us know what you’re chasing.
EOIs close Thursday 29 October at 3:00 pm AEDT.
Registering helps us plan our order; it isn’t a confirmed order or a guarantee of allocation.
Fresh colours for the painting desk
The Warhammer Tone Pro range is now available, with 150 paints across 30 colour groups and five numbered tones in each group, plus the Tech Pro Blending and Shading Mediums.
The range is 15% off Australian recommended retail price. Whether you’re planning a new army or finally tackling something from the pile of opportunity, there’s plenty to browse.
More Star Wars: Unlimited to come
We’re also working on Homeworlds Store Showdowns. We don’t have dates to announce just yet, so stay tuned!
In the meantime, our SWU singles store is live if you’re hunting for a missing card or a favourite treatment.
For your next regular game, keep an eye on our event schedule.
See you at HobbiShack — and hopefully across the table at the PQ!
