New paints, Homeworlds and what’s coming to Hobbishack
Hobbishack / October 2026
Welcome to the Hobbishack blog! We’ll use this space to share what’s coming to the shop, upcoming events and things we’re working on. To kick things off, here’s what’s on the way this month.
Warhammer Tone Pro is coming
The new Warhammer Tone Pro paint range arrives on 24 October. Each colour has five numbered tones, from dark to light, to help you choose shades and highlights that work together.
We’ve got the range coming to Hobbishack, so whether you’re starting a new army or making progress on a half-painted project, keep an eye out for more details.
Homeworlds release and prerelease events
We’re getting ready for Star Wars: Unlimited – Homeworlds! Following the Australian and New Zealand release delay, prerelease begins on 15 October, with the full release on 16 October.
Dates for your diary
Our Fortress prerelease is planned for Thursday 15 October, followed by two days of prerelease events at Hobbishack on Friday 16 and Saturday 17 October.
Session times and booking details will follow.
Star Wars: Unlimited singles are in the works
We’re also working towards introducing Star Wars: Unlimited singles around the Homeworlds launch. SWU will be our focus to start with, giving you another way to find cards for your decks.
There’s still a bit to organise, so we’ll confirm availability and timing once everything is ready.
What are you most looking forward to: trying the new paints, playing Homeworlds, or finding those missing cards?
Let us know, and tell us what you’d like to see in future posts.
