HobbiShack News is our new home for the things happening around the store that are worth knowing about: upcoming releases, new arrivals, restocks, events, Trading Card Game news, Warhammer and tabletop updates, and more.

What to expect

We’ll aim to post a HobbiShack Roundup regularly, usually around Monday nights.

The goal is to bring together the useful stuff from across the hobby—publisher announcements, release dates, preorder opportunities, events, restocks and store news—without expecting you to chase it across a dozen different places. We will not post just for the sake of posting. If there is not enough useful news in a particular week, we may skip it and come back when there is something genuinely worth sharing.

We may even have some guest spots in from time to time from fiends of the store.

Trading Card Games

TCGs are a big part of HobbiShack, so they will often be where we start. Expect confirmed upcoming releases, preorder opportunities, prerelease and tournament news, notable restocks, and products customers have been asking us about—whether that is Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, Gundam, Riftbound, Flesh and Blood, or another game we stock.

Warhammer and Tabletop

We’ll also share Warhammer and tabletop news, including relevant Games Workshop announcements and our latest Expressions of Interest once they are live.

All Warhammer EOIs live on one page. They help us understand what customers are interested in before allocations are confirmed. They are not preorders and do not guarantee supply, but they give us a much clearer picture of what people would like us to bring in.

Help us shape it

We know not everyone follows every part of the hobby. As HobbiShack News grows, we’re considering the best way to make Trading Card Game and Warhammer/Tabletop updates easy to find—whether that means clear sections in one roundup, tags, or separate updates when there is enough news to justify them. At the same time, we do not want to completely split the store and miss the chance for people to discover something new.
